Assitant Research Scientist:  Grows cells, orders supplies, makes solutions, produces most of the computer graphics, and generally keeps the lab running.

Research Scientist I:  Ace electron microscopist, does most of the cryo -tomography, high pressure freezing, cryo-sectioning, and coventional sectioning.
