The Mitochondrial Network was an e-mail list server that connected hundreds of laboratories around the world doing research on any and all aspects of mitochondria. It evolved from the e-mail address list for the 1996 Albany Conference on Frontiers of Mitochondrial Research.
The network merged in 2006 with the NIH-based mitochondrial listserv, for which interested researchers and students can register at http://sigs.nih.gov/mito/Pages/JointheSIG.aspx.
