Cellular Immunology Laboratory

The Cellular Immunology Proficiency Testing Program offers proficiency testing for laboratories that analyze the function and/or the phenotype of the white blood cells (lymphocytes/leukocytes) that comprise the immune system. This program is administered through the New York State Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP). Three proficiency tests are currently offered during the year and are usually shipped in February, June, and October. Current available proficiency testing includes: lymphocyte proliferation (PHA stimulated), lymphoid/T-lymphoid immunophenotyping, CD34 immunophenotyping, and malignant leukocyte immunophenotyping.
