Cellular Immunology Proficiency Testing Program
Cellular Immunology Laboratory
The Cellular Immunology Proficiency Testing Program offers proficiency testing for laboratories that analyze the function and/or the phenotype of the white blood cells (lymphocytes/leukocytes) that comprise the immune system. This program is administered through the New York State Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP). Currently, three proficiency test events are shipped during the year. At this time, proficiency testing is offered for the following assays: lymphocyte proliferation (PHA stimulated), lymphoid/T-lymphoid immunophenotyping, CD34 immunophenotyping, and malignant leukocyte immunophenotyping.
