This slide was taken from the peripheral blood smear of a 39 year-old male with a tentative diagnosis of acute myelomonocytic leukemia (AMML). His white blood cell count was 78.1 X 103/µL. The differential showed 81% blasts. Slide 033a was a 40X view of this slide. All cells are blasts.
