This slide was taken from peripheral blood smear of a 17 year-old male being treated with leukogen. His white blood cell count was 17.3 X 10³/µL. A neutrophil and band neutrophil showed toxic granulation. Döhle bodies are also present. Directions stated to use the code that best described the quality of the cytoplasm.
