Slide 038 [100X]

This slide was taken from the peripheral blood of a 15 year-old male that presented in the emergency room with a temperature of 103°F. His white blood cell count was 22.8 X 103/µL. His differential was normal except for 26% eosinophils. The cell was a normal lymphocyte. However, because no consensus could be obtained for this slide, pass credit was given for all responses.
