Acute myelocytic leukemia (AML)

Available data:

49 year- old male. Prominent cell findings pertaining to Slide 004 included:

giant platelets

and

myeloblasts

. No error points were assigned when indicating the presence of toxic granulation and basophilic stippling. While not in abundance, they were evident features on this slide. Four hundred sixty-eight (468) laboratories successfully passed this slide with a score of 80% or higher. Five (5) laboratories failed this slide with a score below 80%.
