Slide 006: Diagnosis: sinusitis Available data: 45 year- old female. Prominent cell findings pertaining to slide 006 included normal lymphocytes, segmented neutrophils, normal red blood cells and platelets. Laboratories failing to identify these features were assessed error points. Giant platelets, although not in abundance, were present on this slide. No error points were issued when identifying giant platelets.
