Other Instrumentation
Other Instrumentation includes an Auto Microtiter Plate Reader, the Bio-Tek EL-808 that reads absorbances in a 96-well microplate. The instrument has kinetics capabilities and is programmable for shaking and temperature control. Available filters include 340, 405, 450, 490, 630 and 570nm. The Berthold Lumat LB9501 Luminometer is used to measure photons for bio-and chemi-luminescence. Also available is a Savant Speedvac SC200 and Perkin Elmer GeneAmp 9600 PCR.
