EID Fellows: Career Path Subsequent to EID Training

This table above provides an overview of what the EID fellows (both APHL/CDC and NYS) have gone on to do directly following their fellowship training. We have hosted 45 total EID fellows (APHL/CDC-19, NYS-23, and International-3) at the Wadsworth Center since 1995. We anticipate hosting an additional 7 fellows (4 APHL/CDC, 3 NYS) in 2007/2008. Many fellows have stayed on for the short term or the long term here and many have gone off to further their education or work in a related public health or infectious disease field.
