Duties:Responsibilities include the development and validation of biomarkers, including protein-carcinogen adducts from experimental animal models and human specimens. Program is substantially expanding work directed at measuring chemicals and related biomarkers in human-derived specimens. Resulting data will be used to assess chemical exposures, supporting applied work in direct public health protection and research into the causation of environmentally-induced disease. Analyses will be conducted primarily by LC, MS, and MS/MS techniques.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in one or more of the following disciplines: Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Mass Spectrometry, Enzymology and Drug Metabolism.
Preferred Qualifications:A strong background and training in analytical chemistry; experience in protein biochemistry, mass spectrometry of proteins and peptides.
