Incidence Rates, 1999-2005 - Salmonellosis

NYSEIP FoodNet: Incidence Rate of Salmonellosis vs. Healthy People 2010 Objectives, from 1999 - 2005

The graph above is a visual representation of the changes over time in the incidence of salmonellosis in the NYSEIP FoodNet catchment area. Each point on the line represents the rate per 100,000 persons for that year, starting in 1999 through to 2005. The solid line on the graph represents the national goal (Healthy People 2010 Objective) of reaching an incidence rate of 6.8 cases per 100,000 persons by the year 2010. Rates in the NYSEIP FoodNet catchment area have declined slightly since 1999 and currently remain well above the Healthy People 2010 objective for salmonellosis.
