Meetings of the Spinal Cord Injury Research Board are subject to New York State's Open Meetings Law. Advance notices will be posted here and on the Department of Health's web site. Links to real-time webcasts and archived webcasts (available for 30 days) will also appear here.
Members of the public who wish to attend the meetings are asked to abide by the Board's Guidelines for Observers.

Spinal Cord Injury Research Board Regular Business Meeting
Friday, October 9, 2009 - The Spinal Cord Injury Research Board will hold a Regular Business Meeting from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the New York State Department of Health's Metropolitan Area Regional Office, 4th Floor, Conference Room C, 90 Church Street, New York City.

Albany: New York State Department of Health's, Wadsworth Center Biggs Laboratory, Large Conference Room, Empire State Plaza, Albany, NY.
Stony Brook: State University of New York at Stony Brook Health Sciences Center, Level 2, Room 2A, Nicholls Road, Stony Brook, NY.
The Board solicits, receives and reviews applications for awards from the Spinal Cord Injury Research Trust Fund.

Attendees will be required to show ID upon entrance to New York State Department of Health locations. Space is limited.

The Board received updates from program staff, approved a change to operational policies regarding Letters of Intent, and established current and future Board priorities.

The Board made award recommendations for Program Project grants and discussed the April site visit to the Center of Research Excellence.
Tuesday, January 15, 2008 -- The Spinal Cord Injury Research Board held a Regular Business Meeting and Public Hearing from 12:45 p.m. -- 3:45 p.m. at the New York Academy of Sciences Conference Center, 7 World Trade Center, New York City. The Board approved the 2007 Annual Report and the 2008 Expenditure Plan, and considered two Requests for Applications (RFAs).
