Distance Strategies Work Group

Vision: All people with special health care needs (PSHCN) who are in need of genetic services will have timely access to the appropriate care and treatment necessary.

Distance strategies are those strategies that help build the necessary bridges and linkages to services needed and include phone consultation, telemedicine, and other approaches

Goal: Improve access to health care services by developing distance strategies that make medical services more accessible and available to people with special health care needs.
