Radiobioassay Program

Radioactive isotopes, if ingested, can cause severe health problems. A radiobioassay program is being established to determine the intake of radioisotopes by individuals in cases of radiological emergencies or accidental ingestion. Calculating the intake is a critical step in assessing exposure and devising strategies for remedy.
