The Northeast Regional Tuberculosis DNA Fingerprinting Laboratory
The Northeast Regional Tuberculosis (TB) DNA Fingerprinting Laboratory was established at the Wadsworth Center in 1992. An original member of the National TB Genotyping and Surveillance Network, the laboratory analyzes Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex strains by a variety of genetic typing methods.
