DC S - Decimate image - Sum neighbouring pixels

PURPOSE

Decimate 2-D or 3-D real image by addition of neighbouring pixels.

USAGE

.INPUT FILE: PIC001
[Enter name of input file.]

.OUTPUT FILE: PIC002
[Enter name of output file.]

.DECIMATION FACTORS X, Y: 3 ,2
[Enter decimation factors for NSAM and NROW dimensions.]

If the input file is a volume the following question will appear:

.DECIMATION FACTOR Z: 3
[Enter decimation factor for NSLICE dimension.]

NOTES

1. In the above example, the dimensions of the the output file will be reduced to NSAM/3, NROW/2, NSLICE/3.
