The Board discussed State Fiscal Year (FY) 2014-15 and FY 2015-16 funds and recommended distribution of FY 2014-15 funds. It recommended:
- Changes to the Collaborations to Accelerate Research Translation (CART), Innovative, Development or Exploratory Activities (IDEA) Request for Application to allow increased spending in FY 2015-16.
- A standing peer review panel and shortened peer review timeline.
There was also a resolution to further discuss the statute and legislative history of the SCIRB and its funding.
