The Mycology Laboratory provides training to visiting scientists from academia and public health laboratories on classical, molecular and new emerging technologies pertaining to fungal pathogens.
The Mycology Laboratory provides training to Master of Laboratory Science (MLS) students. Students rotate in the Mycology laboratory to learn how a reference laboratory functions. Students will also have the opportunity to work on an independent research project.
In addition, graduate and post-doctoral students, such as APHL/CDC Emerging Infectious Disease and Fogarty Fellows, and SUNY School of Public Health Students have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience on projects currently running in the laboratory.
